Stage and studio

 

Else-Linde made her opera debut as Pamina in a production for children from Die Zauberflote at La Monnaie in Brussels. Since then she has diversified to perform different roles (see repertoire list). She performed among others at the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam, The Oerol festival, Opera Zuid,  the Edinburgh festival in Scotland, and at the International Reisopera.

At the National Opera in Amsterdam she performs in Opera Education programs for children. It is important for her to let a new young public discover many challenges and opportunities through music, opera and theatre.

Else-Linde is also passionate for singing recital and oratorio. Her performed repertoire includes the  St. John’s Passion from Bach, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, The requiem by Mozart and Messe Solenelle by Rossini (see repertoire list). She is performing with several choirs and orchestras  and  has toured in Great Brittain (St. Martin in the Fields),  Italy (at Parco della musica in Rome), France and Germany.

Else-Linde records internationaly for commercial compositions and also for music publisher Boosey and Hawks. 

 

Her singing studies began at the Prins Claus conservatory in Groningen were she was also born and bred. She continued at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague for the Opera class and in Utrecht where she obtained her Masters degree. She was a laureate at the Flanders opera studio in Gent, Belgium and a finalist of the Opera in Berg festival in Salzburg. 

In masterclasses she had the honour to work with great artists such as Michael Chance, John Brocheler, Alexander Oliver and Miranda van Kralingen and in the opera studio from Rome with Renata Scotto.
